It is with a heavy heart and great love that we grieve the passing of Ana Ginel of Orlando, Florida who died on Friday, May 19, 2023.
Ana will lovingly be remembered by her children, Ana, Tony (Ingrid), Joe (Kerri), Carlos (Arzina); Grandchildren, Christina, Lance, Thomas, Tony, Kerri, Asia, Joey, Nicholas, Alexis, Jordan, Hayley, Eric, Aliyah, Angelina; Great-Grandchildren, Jayla, Lola, Tommy, Isles, Francesca, Charlotte; Siblings, Luchi Goodrich, Maria Sardihna, Luis Mini (Antonia), Mati Mini (Pepe), Rosa Mini and numerous other family members and friends.
Ana was predeceased by her husband, Antonio, siblings, Juan and Jose, and parents, Luis and Dolores.
Ana was born October 28, 1943 in Cádiz, Spain and has lived in the greater Orlando area for over 52 years. She and her husband, Antonio, had a great passion for their family and for adventure, which eventually led them to the United States. This love for adventure continued as they traveled back to Spain every year and created new traditions in the United States, including summer vacations to Sarasota which has now become a sacred place for her family. With a love for cooking, Ana’s dining room table was often surrounded by family, beaming with great conversation and laughter. She was a forever friend with a generous heart as well as a devoted housewife and mother. Ana worked for the Arribas Brothers as a blown glass painter from 1976 to 2006, at which time she retired to care for her husband who was battling Parkinson’s disease.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 26, 2023 @ 10:30 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida.
Ana, we can no longer see you with our eyes nor touch you with our hands, but we will forever feel you in our hearts.
