Gregory Vierbickas

Gregory Paul Vierbickas Dedicated Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.

He was born the youngest of four children to Helen P Vierbickas and Victor Vincent Vierbickas I. His three siblings are Valerie, Victor II, and Athena. He completed technical school in 1979 and worked as a Jack of all trades for the remainder of his life. To highlight this, he could do everything from baking a great donut, repairing almost any vehicle, driving cross the county hauling any size load, to completing any maintenance needed for a house or property. Not to mention the ability to complete complex calculus problems in his head in seconds.

Greg was also, and foremost a loving Husband to Lorrie Vierbickas for 35 years. They met over the usage of a phone answering machine leading to a loving family, giving birth to his five boys: Gregory II, Adam, Victor III, Jeffery, and Steven. His loving family continued to grow with the addition of his two daughters, Sumalin and Danielle. He was a compassionate father to them all, always being there when needed, teaching the skills needed to not only succeed but also not shock themselves when fixing a ceiling fan. His focus was truly family first, and he lived his life reflecting this value. Some of the memories we can all share is him getting up before the sun to drive us to work, school, or wherever we needed to go.

Greg will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. His smile will stay with us for all time!

Y’all know what to do. Love each other, be there for each other, and keep him in your hearts because he will always be there when we need him there, still in spirit pushing us to achieve whatever we set our hearts to.
