Ana Maria Hernandez Vega

Ana Maria Hernandez Vega, age 72, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at her daughters’ home in Orlando, surrounded by the love of her family.

Ana was born on August 4, 1950 in Vega Baja, PR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Hernandez and Dolores Vega, as well as her brothers and sister, Vitin, Angel “Papo” and Iris Nereida.

She was known to most by her nickname “Puruca”. She was by profession a nurse by heart a caretaker. She had no greater joy than her family, and her grandchildren filled her heart with happiness and hope!

She is survived by her children, Maria Pagan, Carmen Stella and husband R. Choki Stella, Luis Pagan, Carlos Melendez and his partner Jesus Rodriguez and Myrna Negron; thirteen grandchildren, Anthony Tziotis, Nadia M Zefri, Leila Zefri, Luis “Gabby” Pagan, Jose “JD” Pagan, Tashiaana Pagan, Elias Pagan, Ruben “Xavi” Stella, Johnathan “Alele” Stella, Giovanni Stella, Jessica Colon, Carlos Prieto, Angel Rolon, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
