An Orlando man is facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly stabbed his female roommate during an argument this week.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 500 block of MacArthur Drive on Tuesday, May 30, at around 7:20 p.m. in reference to an argument between roommates.
Upon arrival, deputies found a woman suffering from a stab wound. That woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, according to authorities.
The suspect, 62-year-old Rodney O’Shields, was arrested at the scene. According to court records, O’Shields faces a charge of attempted second degree murder with a weapon.
He was arrested and transferred to the Orange County Jail. His bond was set at $25,000.
