Geraldine Miley

Geraldine Miley was born November 6, 1935, in Summerton, South Carolina to Hayes and Diane Stukes.

Geraldine met and married Eugene Miley on April 30th,1960 and spent 49 beautiful years together. Into their union were born three children; Anthony, Randall and Sharon. Geraldine, pursued a career in Nursing and graduated from King County Hospital for Nursing. Her first job was at Suffolk County Developmental Center. After many years of service there, the opportunity presented itself and she became the Director of Nursing for Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in Queens, New York.

While being a loving wife and mother, “Miss Geri” as she was affectionately known by family and friends, had a passion and love for bowling. She and her husband traveled with different bowling leagues. She was a member of the United States Bowling Congress Association. With that same love and passion for bowling, she became a youth coach, passing on that passion. If you knew Miss Geri, then you also knew her love for cruising and making sure that her family and friends enjoyed it as well. She was a very strong and independent woman and anything she could share with you in wisdom and guidance, she would.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Miley; parents Hayes and Diane Stukes; son Randall Miley, Sr. and granddaughter Maria Gomez. Geraldine leaves to cherish precious memories to son Dr. Anthony Miley (Willie Mae); daughter Sharon Hamilton (Nathaniel) son-son: Randall Miley, Jr.; daughter daughter Izante Hamilton; two daughters -in -law Mary Holt (Tony) and Marcia Miley; grandchildren Roniece, VaShira (Steve), David (Christina), Sha-keem, Vincent (Christina), Angel (Jimmy), Chastity (Reggie), Nakia and Eddie; 35 great grands 13 great-great grands: a host of other relatives and dear friends.
