The Central Florida Community Arts Symphony Orchestra will host a concert this week that merges jazz, swing, and big band hits.
The Symphonic Swing will perform over two days, Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Northland Church (522 Dog Track Road, Longwood).
The largest community orchestra in the country, the CFCArts Symphony Orchestra will merge classic styles to perform some of the greatest swing and big band hits. That includes classic songs by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, George Gershwin, Dave Brubek, and Irving Berlin.
