A 21-year-old man is being charged with 20 counts of sexual battery and molestation after two boys, ages 8 and 11, disclosed to police that he had sexually abused them on multiple occasions.
Vitor Camilo Coelho Pinto was arrested on Tuesday, June 6, by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit on ten counts of capital sexual battery and ten counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.
According to police, on Monday, an 11-year-old boy reported to police that he had been victimized on multiple occasions by Pinto.
During their investigation, authorities determined that Pinto had also victimized another boy. In an interview with the boy, who is now 8 years old, the victim disclosed several incidents of lewd and lascivious conduct by Pinto.
Authorities say that Pinto, who is from Brazil, has lived in the Kissimmee area since 2020. During that time, Pinto has befriended several Brazilian families who reside in the area and has offered to babysit and assist with child care.
Due to the circumstances and his access to children, the sheriff’s office believes that Pinto may have sexually abused additional victims.
