Free admission for active-duty military at Leu Gardens

A local botanical gardens is now part of a national program that offers free admission to all active-duty military members.

Leu Gardens is now officially part of the Blue Star Museums program, which offers free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.

Any active-duty military with proper identification from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Reserves will receive free general admission every day of the year, with up to four additional friends and family members allowed $5 off general admission.

Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America.

Retired military personnel are admitted at regular price and are admitted free on the following holidays: Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Armed Forces Day.
