Vince A. Walton III passed away unexpectedly in his home on June 8, 2023 while recovering from back surgery. Vince is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Walton of Winter Park, FL, his father, Vince Walton Jr. of Winter Park, FL, his sister, Cindy Phillips of St. Augustine, FL, and his nephew Edward Morse Jr. of Hendersonville, NC.
Vince is survived by his daughter, India Walton Santiago of Winter Park, FL, four grandchildren, Aliza, Isabelle, Jack and Aiyanna, his sister, Kay Morse (Ed Morse) of Etowah, NC, and nephews – Chris, Wesley, Gary, and Denny.
Vince was a carpenter by trade and could build almost anything. When the nephews were children, there were many summers where they were pulled into Vince’s projects where they worked for gas money to go back and run the boat over the lake for hours. Vince loved riding motorcycles, bow fishing in the St. John’s River, canoeing, anything outside. Even at home, his favorite place was hanging out in his back yard.
