Orlando, FL – Christina Yvette LeMaire, 34, former resident of Greenfield, MA and Kearneysville, WV passed away unexpectedly at her home in Orlando, FL on February 5th, 2023.
Born in Greenfield, MA on April 18, 1989 to Katrina (Capen) LeMaire and the late Kevin LeMaire, Sr., Chrissy attended pre-K to 2nd grade at Newton Street school in Greenfield until the family re-located in 1997. She attended Berkeley Heights Elementary, South Middle School and Martinsburg High School in Martinsburg, WV and was a member of the ROTC program from 9th through 10th grade.
Chrissy had many career interests from home health aide to forklift operator and acquired multiple specialization certifications including in OSHA and CPR/First Aid and carpentry and electrical skills.
She was very creative and adored being outside and working with her hands. She worked on projects with her dad around the house including helping him construct a deck for their pool. She also loved to go hiking, swimming, bowling, cycling and most of all–watch New England Patriots games with her father.
She loved animals of all kinds and had three cats, Bootsie, Patches, Rayray, a Chihuahua named Cocoa and a green conure parrot named Yahtzee.
She is survived by her mother, Katrina (Capen) LeMaire, brother Kevin LeMaire, Jr., his wife, Kim and their children, Kyra, Kiani and Kinaya. Aunts Rene Capen-Clark, Corinna Capen, Karen Pierce and Susan Hobgood. Great-aunts Arlene Jackson, Sandra LaPlante, Roxanne Heiser, Joan Kunert Rolla, great-uncle Richard LeMaire and many cousins.
She is predeceased by her father, Kevin LeMaire Sr., grandfathers, Robert LeMaire, Edward Capen and her grandmothers, Yvette Capen and Lillian LeMaire.
Compass Point Funeral Services of Orlando, FL helped bring Chrissy home and there will be a celebration of her life on June 17, 2023 at her home in Kearneysville, WV.
