Red Bull BC One will host a southeastern regional break dancing competition at an Orlando-area university this weekend.
The Red Bull BC One Cypher will take place at Full Sail Live (141 University Park Drive, Winter Park) on Saturday, June 17. Preliminary rounds will begin at 3:00 p.m., with the final battles scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The competition will celebrate the breaking and hip-hop community by showcasing break dancers from throughout the southeastern United States.
The event will be hosed by Myverse, a poet, emcee and battle rapper from the Orlando area. Each competitor will face off against another competitor in a one-on-one battle until one female and one male break dancer are crowned champions. The winners will then vie for a spot at the National Final in Philadelphia on August 26.
