Mirian E. Johnson, 89 passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2023. A member of a pioneer Osceola County family. Marian was born in Kissimmee, Florida the daughter of Remer Albritton and Mabel Padgett Albritton and was a life long Osceola County resident. She was a retired citrus grove owner and cattle rancher. Mirian was also a Baptist by faith. She was a member of the Florida Cattleman’s Association, and worked with her late husband of 53 years O’dell in the citrus production and the cow and calf operations.
She loved fishing at the Mosqueto Lagoon, fishing for Red fish, deer and hog hunting, and would even clean and process her own meat. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
She is survived by her son: Marvin Dale “Butch” Johnson (Robin) of Arcadia, Florida; her brother: Stephen Albritton of Saint Cloud, Florida; sisters: Judy Shepherd of Saint Cloud, Florida , Margarete Pullen of Wylie, Texas; grandson: William O’dell Johnson.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the old section of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Bob Reaves officiating.
