George A. Siva, Jr.

George A. Siva Jr. passed away March 2, 2023, in hospice care near his home in Casselberry, Florida.

George was born January 27, 1956, the son of George A. and Anna Mae Cicuto Siva. He was a 1974 graduate of Lowellville High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. In 1990, he moved to Florida to pursue a career in sales and to raise his family.

George leaves his devoted wife the former Cynthia Myers whom he married Nov. 22, 1986, and their two sons Andrew T. Siva of Washington D.C. and Anthony J. Siva of Casselberry. He also leaves to cherish his memory his dad George Siva, and three sisters and brothers-in-law Leida and Joe Shuluga, Teresa and John Norris, and Mary Beth and Rick Crozier along with many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother.

George was a kind and giving man. He was a “Mr. Fix It” and often helped family, friends, and strangers with car repairs. George spent many hours volunteering at his sons’ schools helping with maintenance issues. His service to the schools continued even after his boys graduated. He also helped out at the school where his wife teaches. In addition, together with Cynthia, they spent many years volunteering with the Boy Scouts.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 131 E. Wood Street in Lowellville. A luncheon will follow.
