Tylek DeVaughn Andrews, 47, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Tylek, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on January 19, 1976 to Helen Stewart Andrews and the late Floyd Andrews, Sr. Professionally, Tylek worked as a shipping contractor for several years.
Tylek loved watching sports, playing cards, and was known to everyone as a jokester. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tylek is survived by his daughter, Tylyiah Andrews; mother, Helen S. Andrews; brother, Floyd (Shakenya) Andrews, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, 1:00PM at Mt. Olive Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 745 Woods Avenue, Orlando Pastor Anhtony Oliver, officiating. Interment will be at Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
