Kenneth N. Fillinger, 98, of Longwood, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Kenneth was a proud member of the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1942 to 1945. He was also a loving father, grandfather, friend, and Pilot. Kenneth was a conversationalist and never met a stranger. He was known for building communities and lasting relationships.
Many who knew him have said that after speaking with him he always made you feel better afterwards. He just had a way with people. He was known for his sense of humor and his many sayings and words of wisdom. People would always ask him what his secret to living a long life was. He would always respond by saying “you can’t sweat the small stuff”.
Kenneth was a faithful follower of God and long standing member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. A service in his honor on Tuesday, June 29,2023 at 2:00pm at Calvary Church of the Nazarene located at 750 Roger Williams Rd, Apopka, FL 32703.
