Carlee Bronson Vought, 61 of Kissimmee passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born in Miami, Florida, the daughter of John Wiley and Betty Hurst Gilbert.
Carlee was the essence of beauty, a very miami girl who sprung from excellent southern roots. She was the diamond in her parents’ gems. Carlee is not just loved and appreciated by her remaining family members but also the family members of alcoholics anonymous of whom Carlee dedicated her precious and most valuable time to the service of others.
She always went above and beyond in helping men, women, children and animals, no task was too big nor too small. She helped any and everyone she could in her AA program not only in the state of Florida but many other states as well. With over two plus decades of dedicated unbroken sobriety, she was able to live out a life of service.
Carlee is survived by several cousins and her caregiver Kari.
She is preceded in death by her husband Toby Vought, her parents John and Betty Gilbert and brothers Johnny and Jimmy, as well as her dog Barney.
