Mary Marlee Brennan Ojeda passed on June 11, 2023, in Longwood FL at the age of 76.
Mary is survived by her husband Carlos Ojeda, daughters Patricia Tuggle, Monica Dalton and sons Daniel Ojeda and Chuck Ojeda.
She is preceded in death by Leila Cole Brennan and Martin Justin Brennan.
Mary was born on February 12, 1947 in Baltimore Maryland and graduated from Richard Montgomery High School. She married her high school sweetheart Carlos Ojeda in 1966. In 1967 Mary moved to Florida with Carlos and baby Patricia.
Mary was a very talented artist in many ways. She found the talent and gift of being able to bake and decorate Cakes as a creative outlet and eventually a business. As the cake business boomed, she was a trailblazer and opened her own cake decorating supply store in the early 1980s. The shop was called located in Longwood FL and called Create- A -Cake and it came well before there were celebrity cake decorating shows on tv.
Mary was also a loving mother to 4 children and was fun active person before the Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis that eventually stole her abilities away from her. Mary was a very devoted catholic who attended St Mary Magdalen Church from the late 60s until she could no longer attend church.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday June 30th at 1pm at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary Ojeda’s life.
