Fireworks, parade during Winter Garden’s Independence Day celebrations

The city of Winter Garden will host a series of activities and events over multiple days as part of its Independence Day celebration.

Festivities kick off this weekend when the Winter Garden Farmer’s Market hosts its celebration on Saturday, July 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the downtown pavilion (104 S. Lakeview Avenue). There will be kids crafts from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., as well as live music, lawn games, patriotic decorative booths, summer produce, BBQ essentials, and food vendors.

Additional activities will take place on Tuesday, July 4, with the All American Kid Parade and Breakfast. The breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. and the parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge (230 W. Bay St.). Kids eat free, and breakfast is available for adults to purchase. There will be entertainment and fun activities for the kids. Everyone is welcome to join the parade on bike, scooter, or foot, and a variety of complimentary patriotic decorations are available just outside the lodge.

Later that evening, the city will host its Party in the Park from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Newton Park (29 W. Garden Avenue). The Fireworks Show starts at 9:15 p.m. and there will be live music, games, crafts, family activities, and vendors. Visitors are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and pack a picnic. No alcohol is permitted.
