The city of Winter Park will host its 28th annual celebration for Independence Day on Tuesday, with free Kona Ice and a fireworks show to cap the evening.
Festivities kick off on Tuesday, July 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble taking the stage at 9:30 a.m. There will be free Kona Ice, pies, and cookies while celebrating (while supplies last). The event is family-friendly and will feature a kids zone with carnival games, balloon artists, and bounce slides.
A bike parade will also take place at around 10:45 a.m. All festivities will take place at Central West Park Meadow, which is located at 150 West Morse Boulevard in Winter Park.
