Richard Munoz, 78, of Windermere, Florida passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Orlando Health, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital with his wife Gloria, son Gregory, and daughter in law Nobuko, by his side.
Richard was born in New York, NY and raised in The Bronx, NY. He began his courtship with Gloria at the age of 16 and they were married 4 years later. They raised 3 sons, Richard Jr, Gregory, and Robert together.
He worked for the NYC Department of Health for over 50 years, retiring in 2012 as their Senior Health Advisor.
Besides his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria, he is survived by his sons, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and son, Richard Jr.
There will be a celebration of Richards life on Wednesday July 5, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. being held at Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations.
