Brent D. Getty, age 65, of St. Cloud, Florida, originally from northeastern Ohio, passed away on June 18, 2023.
Brent was a cabinet maker by trade and took pride in the beautiful pieces of furniture he made for his family. He was an avid fan of music, acquiring a massive record collection. Brent was a life-long fan of Cleveland sports and enjoyed the Marvel Universe movies. Brent’s constant companion for over the past 10 years was his terrier-mix dog, Trouble, who he adored.
Brent is survived in life by his dear father Robert G. Getty of Parma, OH. Loving father of Melissa Anne (Bradley) Radecki of St Cloud, FL, Jennifer Kae (Brian Sr.) Sisco of Minot, ND, Ryan Brent Getty, of Kissimmee, FL, Lorren Irene (Nicholas Sr) Gonzalez, of Davenport, FL, and Erin Kaylynn Getty, of St. Cloud, FL. Cherished Papa to Brian Jr., Natalie, Josilyn, Elizabeth, John, Kyrie, Nicholas Jr., Camila, Jordan, and Justin. Dear brother to Kevin Getty, Brenda (Michael) Berger, Karen (William) Field, and Jean (Jeffery) Krist. Uncle of 6 nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and nephews. Brent was preceded in death by his loving mother, Kezia (nee Thompson) Getty, and brothers John, Craig, and Brian.
