Maitland man accused of sending child porn through gay chat app

A 37-year-old Maitland man has been indicted on multiple felony charges for allegedly using a gay chat application to download and distribute images and videos of child pornography, including a video of a toddler-aged female being raped.

Tremaine Lincoln Farara was indicted last week by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida for allegedly being in possession of child pornography.

According to court records, from April 6 to April 13 of this year, Farara engaged an online, undercover agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding having sex with children. Farara originally sent a message to the agent through JACK’D, which is an internet messaging platform used by male members of the gay community.

During conversations with the undercover agent, Farara mentioned that he was interested in “yng, incest, and beast,” stated that his fantasy was to “give a boy his first [expletive],” and mentioned that he wanted to also have sex with a female dog.

When the undercover agent mentioned that he had an 11-year-old son, Farara began gearing the conversation towards engaging sexually with the 11-year-old boy. He told the agent that his sister worked for an airline and that he could “fly for free” to meet up for sexual relations with the boy.

To prove he was not law enforcement, Farara sent the undercover agent videos depicting children of different ages engaging in sexual intercourse with adults. In one video, an adult man is seen vaginally raping a female toddler before ejaculating on the toddler’s vagina.

Farara sent further messages specifying that his biggest fantasy was having sex with a child around the agent’s son’s age or getting “gangbanged by a group of 11-13-year-old boys.”

Farara faces multiple, felony charges including two counts of distributing child sexual abuse images and videos over the internet, two counts of receiving child sexual abuse images and videos over the internet, and one count of possessing child sexual abuse images and videos that involve a young child and a child not yet 12 years old.

If convicted, Farara faces a minimum mandatory sentence of five years, and up to 20 years, in federal prison for each count of distributing and receiving of child sexual abuse images and videos, and up to 20 years imprisonment for the possession count.
