Lee Road was reopened on Monday after a multi-hour closure that resulted from multiple concrete power poles falling onto vehicles on the roadway.
Officials from the Winter Park Police Department and Winter Park Fire Rescue were called to the 1400 block of Lee Road on Monday, July 10, after reports of a vehicle accident.
According to authorities, a semi-truck got snagged with communication lines that were above it, taking the lines to the ground. As a result, the concrete power poles that the lines were attached to also came crashing to the ground.

The poles crashed into the semi and another nearby pickup truck in the area.
The resulting incident closed Lee Road in both directions near the Center of Winter Park shopping plaza for several hours while crews attended to the debris.
According to authorities, no injuries were reported.
