Lisa Romano, 60, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023, with her family lovingly by her side.
Born on February 18, 1963, in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter of Charles and Florence Dickson. She grew up in Rochester with her brother, Joseph. She graduated from Eastridge Senior High School in 1981, and on August 14, 1982, she married Sam Romano. They were blessed with three boys: Sam, Steven, and Christopher.
Lisa treasured every moment with Sam and the boys; those memories were proudly displayed in photos throughout their home. She loved her family dearly, and they were the light of her life.
Lisa was passionate about making her house a home, meeting new friends, listening to and singing music, going to concerts, cooking for and hosting family gatherings, and dancing, all of which she did throughout her life. She cherished time spent with her girlfriends and was a friend to everyone she met. Lisa was always authentic and selfless in her pursuit of helping others. She was a beautiful person inside and out; few met Lisa without feeling the spirit she emitted. She will be greatly missed until we are reunited with her.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Sam, of 41 years; three sons, Sam (Alex), Steven, and Christopher; brother Joseph (Gladys); mother, Florence (Don); eleven nieces and nephews; and many more extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1996.
