Frances was born on August 30, 1927 in Gray, PA to Anthony and Mary Palie. Frances was number 7 of 13 children and was the first to graduate high school at Hyde Park High in 1944. She married Francis Fuoco in 1960 who grew up across the street. Francis was one of 10 children. Frances was a home maker until 1976, when she moved to Florida and started a daycare in her house. With so many nieces and nephews when she started the daycare she was known to the children as Aunty Fran.
From the moment she opened her arms to the children, her love became an unbreakable bond that lasted a lifetime. They affectionately called her Aunty, but she was so much more—she was family.
Her love extended beyond bloodlines, she became a haven of warmth and nurturing for lucky children she tended to. She was more than a caregiver; she was a teacher, guiding them through life’s essential lessons. Her teachings extended beyond practical skills. She imparted the values of kindness, patience, and empathy. She showed all of us the importance of lending a helping hand and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
