Igor Guimarães coming to the Dr. Phillips Center

A Brazilian comedian with international fame will take the stage at the Dr. Phillips Center this weekend.

Igor Guimarães will perform on Sunday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the Dr. Phililps Center for the Performing Arts (445 S Magnolia Avenue).

Guimarães’ particular voice and unique style make him one of the greatest Brazilian comedians today.

“Benignismo is a show of irreverent humor, with funny jokes, lots of improvisation, and audience participation. Each performance is different; it varies according to the audience’s interaction,” says Guimarães.
