Julianne Franus

Julie passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 30, 2023. She was born August 12, 1960; an Orlando native; youngest daughter of Joseph and Marie Franus, who were already in Heaven, waiting to welcome her Home.

A professional violinist, Julie taught preschool and music, played in many professional orchestras, including the Orlando Philharmonic and even travelled to Europe with the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra. She played for weddings, special events and many celebrities, her favorite being Andrea Bocelli.

She loved Jesus, her family, many friends, music (especially classical), children the beach, good food and cats. As a Christian, Julie touched many lives with her sweet, caring and generous spirit. Playing her violin was a lifeline for her, as well as a rich blessing to anyone who heard her play.

Our family grieves, but with the belief that we will one day see Julie again as she is now: at peace, free, and totally healed.

Julianne is survived by sisters Joanne (Carl) Barton, Marianne (Dennis) Beck, Suzanne (John) Stinson, many nieces and nephews, and many friends, especially Tim Sprunger.

Friends and family are invited to join us in a celebration of Julie’s life on Saturday, August 12, at First Alliance Church Orlando at 3800 Lake Underhill Road, 32803 at 2:00 p.m. with a gathering afterwards in the Fellowship Hall.
