Nintendo bringing pop-up series to local mall for ‘Summer of Play’

A Nintendo pop-up experience that will allow children to play new Pikmin, Mario, Pokémon, and Zelda games for free is coming to the Florida Mall this week.

The pop-up event will be July 20–23, starting at 11 a.m. at the Florida Mall, located at 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando.

To celebrate family summer gaming, Nintendo is hosting the Nintendo “Summer of Play” tour to give guests of all ages the chance to discover Nintendo characters and learn more about the worlds they come from.

Visitors will be able to play different games, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, New Horizons, and the upcoming Pikmin 4. Visitors will also be able to play Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, as well as the recently released Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Once completed, they’ll have the opportunity to receive free Nintendo merchandise while supplies last.
