Emil Gasperoni

Emil Gasperoni, of Apopka, Florida passed away on July 14, 2023 at the age of 96.

Emil is survived by his wife Karen, his children Sam Gasperoni, Emil Gasperoni Jr., and Jean Gasperoni; and his grandchildren, Phillip, Jessica, Amir and Ferris and step grandchildren, Micheal and Patrick.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Ellen Jean Gasperoni, father Attico Gasperoni, mother Rosa Gasperoni, and brother Samuel Gasperoni.

Emil was born November 13, 1926 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Army during world war II. He married Ellen, his first great love and they had three children. The family moved to Florida in the mid 1960’s and Emil continued his work as a real estate broker and developer. He then founded Fill-R-Up Systems Inc. and would often fly his private plane throughout the state of Florida searching for car wash locations. His incredible work ethic, determination to succeed, and outgoing personality led to many more successful business endeavors. His passion for golf led him to purchase and remodel the Sweetwater Country Club.

In 2009, Ellen, his wife of over 50 years passed away. Emil then married Karen, the second great love of his life. She loved and cared for him until his death.

He taught his family the meaning of generosity and to always think of others. His family and friends will miss him tremendously.

The funeral service will be at Annunciation Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, Thursday July 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
