Orlando Modesto Garcia, age 92 of Orlando Florida passed away on Friday, July 14.

Orlando was born in Guayos, Las Villas, Cuba and immigrated to New York City at the age of 25, and married the love of his life, Irma Perez. Orlando was employed by Fisher Body, now Chevrolet, until becoming a self-employed grocer. In 1975, he moved his family to Orlando, Florida, where he acquired La Copa, and continued his career as a grocer. He concluded his career at Regal Boats until his retirement at age 72 after 20 years of service. He was deeply committed to his loving family, baseball and the New York Yankees.

Orlando is preceded in death by his wife Irma, his siblings Francisco (Pancho), Venancio (Lito), Wenceslao (Firpo), Enedina Pastoria Garcia and Virgilio (Villo). Orlando is survived by his children, Irma L Urquiola, Orlando Garcia Jr., and Elizabeth M Riley, his brother, Rigoberto Victorino Garcia, his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
