Man out on bond for stalking 6-year-old, arrested again for stalking more kids

A 56-year-old man who was out on bond in a stalking case, was arrested for allegedly stalking two children again.

Mark Greenberg, of Deltona, was arrested on July 22, 2023, by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly stalking and harassing two boys, ages 10 and 13, in his neighborhood.

Greenberg was out on bond in a separate case in which he is accused of the same offense.

According to court records, between May 12, 2023 and July 21, 2023, Greenberg allegedly recorded the two victims while they were playing with a third victim. That third victim is the same child in a pending case against Greenberg.

In a court filing requesting that Greenberg’s bond be revoked, the state claims that Greenberg “will not abide by the reasonable conditions of bond.”

“It is the state’s position that monetary bond is insufficient to protect this community or the victim from the continued criminal acts of this defendant,” reads the motion.

Last year, Greenberg was arrested after a 6-year-old girl’s father and neighbors reported nearly a dozen harassing incidents in eight months, including one in which he invited the girl to Disney World to turn her “into a woman.”

The sheriff’s office released the following body camera worn video showing Greenberg’s initial arrest.

According to police, on multiple occasions, Greenberg harassed neighbors, yelled at children and their kids using a megaphone, and drove past houses while recording children on his phone.

Last September, Greenburg was seen outside of the girl’s grandmother’s home in a separate neighborhood. During those instances, he was allegedly seen taking photos of the child.

Greenberg now faces multiple felony charges in both cases. He has been incarcerated at the Volusia County Jail since Saturday.
