A local organization that provides free healthcare for the uninsured in Central Florida is offering free physicals for students at various locations in Orange County.
Shepherd’s Hope will host a series of free, Back-To-School & Sports Physicals events over the coming weeks at various locations across the tri-county area:
West Orange Health Center (455 9th Street, Winter Garden):
July 29 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
August 3 – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Longwood Health Center (600 N U.S. 17-92, Ste 124, Longwood)
July 31 – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Dr. Diebel, Jr. Memorial Health Center (9833 E Colonial Drive, Orlando)
July 27 – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
August 1 – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Downtown Health Center (101 S Westmoreland Drive, Orlando)
August 2 – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will feature free school physicals, sports physicals, vision, hearing, and ECG screenings, with dental screenings available at West Orange Health Center.
True Health will also provide free immunizations at Dr. Diebel Health Center on July 27, and the West Orange Health Center on July 29.
After the exam, children will receive a Florida Department of Health form DOH 3040, which meets the state requirement for enrollment in a public or private school.
