Local police are investigating the death of a 29-year-old mother whose body was found in Volusia County on Wednesday.
The body of Christina Donley was found on July 26, according to a statement issued by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say Donley’s body was discovered on Lake Ashby Road, near south State Road 415 in New Smyrna Beach.
Sheriff’s office detectives are actively investigating the death, but say it does not appear to be a homicide. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday, but the results have not yet been released.
Friends and family have taken to social media to share their grief for Donley, who became a mother for the first time in April 2019.
