Timothy Watts, 56, of Oakland, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2023. Tim once wrote on Facebook, “It’s all about the story”. What a magical, beautiful story Tim’s life on earth was.
Tim was born in Rochester NY on May 31, 1967, the only child and beloved son of Linda Bouchard- Jennejohn and Donald Jennejohn. Tim fulfilled many roles in life, and the roles he was the proudest of were being the loving husband of Lisa (Spoor) Watts and amazing father to Trevor and Lexie Watts. This was evident in his 29-year marriage to the love of his life, the pride with which his children spoke of him, and the stories Tim told of his family. Tim’s traits and values, including his sense of humor, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family, will live on within his parents and his family.
Tim’s roles in life were many and carry fond memories for his family during this difficult time. A self- described suffering fan of the Orlando Magic and the Buffalo Bills, Tim poured his heart into cheering on both teams throughout their seasons. Tim’s fondness for craft beers is well-known and his family encourages you to raise a glass and toast Tim’s memory. His family is comforted by knowing that he has reunited with loved ones who have passed before him, including Grandparents, Harold and Ruth Bouchard, Mike and Lois Spoor and many others. We know the first two racing to greet him were his childhood dog Daisy and his last dog, Honey.
It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one. Tim’s unexpected passing has left a giant hole in the hearts of many including family, friends, and co-workers. Tim was employed by Disney for 34 years, a position which he loved and was very proud to hold. He once said The Little Mermaid, Alladin, and Beauty and the Beast serve as the soundtrack to his connection with the company and its stories.
Lisa, Trevor, Lexie, Lin, and Don are feeling the pain of Tim’s unbearable loss at this time. There’s a saying, grief is just love with no place to go. Their love and those of others who love him is directed to Heaven now and sent back each time Tim sends us a sign from above. This year we will anticipate one or two of those signs coming as wins for the Magic and the Bills!
