Orlando man, woman found at home in apparent homicide, suicide

A man and a woman who were found with gunshot wounds in a Pine Castle home have died from their injuries in an apparent homicide, suicide.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in the 500 block of Thomas Jefferson Way on Sunday, July 30, at around 8:21 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals who had been shot. A woman in her 30s was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

The other individual, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to police, both individuals lived in the same residence as roommates.

The investigation is in its early stages and, as such, no additional information has been released, including the identities of the individuals involved.
