A splash pad at a Sanford park will offer free entry this week.
Fort Mellon Park offers free entry to its splash pad on the first Friday of every month, with the next deal scheduled for Friday, August 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Children and families are invited to the park, which is located at 600 E 1st Street in Sanford, with no admission charge for the splash pad, as well as the large playground and swings at the park.
