A body that was found behind a Walmart in Orlando was identified as an 85-year-old man who was declared missing last month.
Orlando Police Department officers responded to the wooded area behind the Walmart located at 3101 W. Princeton Street on Saturday, August 5, after a body was reportedly found.
Law enforcement authorities identified the body as that of Luis Alvarado, who was declared missing last week.
Alvarado was last seen on Sunday, July 30, leaving his apartment in the area of 1700 Mercy Drive. The Walmart where his body was recovered is located just over a mile from his apartment.
OPD detectives are currently investigating the case, but do not suspect foul play.
