Dozens of firefighting personnel responded to a fire that tore through a home in Altamonte Springs early Monday morning.
Over 45 units from the Seminole County Fire Department, Orange County Fire Rescue, and other local fire departments responded to reports of a fire at a home on Terry Drive in Altamonte Springs on Monday, August 7, at around 2:55 a.m.
According to SCFD, the home was 40% involved with fire when crews arrived on the scene at 3 a.m. In addition to the home, a tree in the backyard had also caught fire.
Water was applied to the home by 3:08 a.m. and the fire was taken under control.
The home was boarded up when crews arrived, and no injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
