Aderonke Bosede Ayeni

Princess (Mrs) Aderonke Bosede Ayeni was born in North London, England to the late Dansaaki Samuel Adeleye Lt.Col (rtd) and Olori Jumoke Felicia Agbede of the Ogidi ruling dynasty of Igbara Oke, Ondo state, Nigeria on April 12th, 1964.

She was one of five children and the first daughter of the family. She moved to Nigeria with her parents on completion of their academic sojourn in the United Kingdom. She attended the best schools in Nigeria and finished her A levels in the elite Queens College Lagos where she demonstrated her natural gift of gab, leading the Literary and Debating Society to win many accolades and televised competitions. She then proceeded to the University of Lagos graduating as a lawyer and called to the bar in 1999.

Aderonke began her career in banking at Chattered bank (formerly Commercial Bank credit Lyonnaise) in Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria where she was loved and served with merit and was recognized for her service to the bank. After her marriage to her loving husband, Mr Victor Tunde Ayeni, she relocated to the United States in 2001. She has since worked as a banker at Truist bank where she was also greatly respected and loved. She loved God, family and community in that order, a dutiful and lovely woman. She served diligently in her home church, an executive at CAC Orlando, Chapel of Praise. She was also a very visible hard working executive officer in the Glorious Women of Faith International.

Aderonke was a reliable and resourceful woman and steadfast in her convictions.

She was a natural leader and a ray of sunshine to every one that had the good fortune in relating with her on any level. She danced with kings and knew no paupers, humble to the core! She loved to celebrate others with joy.

She coordinated activities in the church and in the community. She was a loving and kind woman with a generous heart, always helpful and supportive to all. Aderonke was a loyal friend and sees the best in everyone. Fondly addressed as OMO OBA 1. She was a fashionable dresser and her favorite color was red. The brighter the better. A great loss to her family, household of God and the Nigerian community.

She is survived by her aged mother, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, cousins, step children Olukemi, Ekundayo and Anike, children Olutoni and Olutimilehin and husband Victor Tunde Ayeni.
