Becky Mizzell passed on July 28th, 2023 at 11:51pm. She had a long journey from Florida to South Carlina and was laid to rest in her final resting place on August 5th, 2023, joining her mom, father and her favorite Aunt Mary in the Smith Family Cemetery in Elloree SC.
We will be doing a celebration of life ceremony in Lake Mary, Florida (tba) for local friends and family.
She has 6 beautiful children and many and plenty grandchildren and even great grandchildren. Her children are Christopher Sprouse (Deceased), Wendy Zarvis, Kelly Fox, Kerry McCall, Jennifer “Robin” Whit, and Chelsea Mizzell. Her best friends in life were Peggy and Mike. She was an RN for over 40 years of life. 10 of that she worked doing Hospice. She even passed, still being a Registered Nurse at the age of 81, as that was very important to her.
She battled Stage 4 Breast Cancer and was our survivor. Her last moments were in Hospice care which is the place she actually retired from. Our mom loved to travel, loved being an RN, eating at buffets and doing lots of DIY projects.
Some of her favorite things were: chocolate, yellow gladiolus flowers, black coffee, grits and the color beige. She was a very caring and compassionate individual that helped many families over the years through very hard times. She is now an angel smiling down on all of us she leaves behind.
You will forever be missed but never forgotten. With all the love in the world, to our mom.
