Daniel Carl Metzger died unexpectedly in Kissimmee, Fl on August 16, 2023 at the age of 28.
Daniel is survived by his Parents, Carl and Linda Metzger of Orlando, FL, siblings Nick Metzger (Rachael) of Charlotte, NC, Rebecca Metzger of Philadelphia, PA and maternal grandfather, Jim Moss (Flora) Rockledge, Fl. girlfriend, Rose Williams, and many cousins and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James and Katherine Ann Metzger and maternal grandmothers, Marilyn Moss, Peggy Moss and cousin, Derek Moss.
Daniel was born on June 9, 1995, in Orlando, Florida to Linda and Carl. He attended Saint Andrew Catholic School and graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in 2014. He was attending Florida Technical College working on certifications to become a professional welder. He met Rose Williams while in school, and they began a loving relationship.
Daniel enjoyed fishing, reading, and the beach. He had a generous heart, and enjoyed nothing more than to make others happy. He had an infectious smile and laugh. While he struggled with anxiety, he refused to let it define him. Daniel had overcome so much and had finally found love, acceptance and success. While he had his battles and tribulations, he managed to overcome something that few can begin to comprehend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held for Daniel Metzger on Sunday August 20, 2023 at Central Florida Hillel 3925 Lockwood Boulevard Oviedo, Fl 32765. A visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Followed by Memorial Service 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
