It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Laszlo (Laz) at home on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Longwood, Florida at the age of 54. We will miss him dearly but take comfort in knowing that he is at peace.
Laz was preceded in death by his Father, Anthony Sass and his beloved wife Loyda DeAlba Sass.
Laszlo was born on June 18, 1969 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Anthony and Eva Sass. After moving to Longwood, Florida in 1982 he attended Rock Lake Middle School and then Lake Brantley High School.
He and his Father, Anthony created Tony’s Home Improvements which became a very successful business for over 30 years serving the local community. He was an accomplished drummer in a local garage band, Idle Fury, formed together with best friends from high school, Andy and Steve.
He was passionate about his Hungarian heritage and loved Formula One, NASCAR and the NY Giants.
He is survived by his Mother, Eva Sass along with his sisters Eva (Tom) Gallow and Aggie (Andy) Armstrong along with niece Nicole Monk and great nephew Aidan Monk.
