Woman killed by gunfire, two others injured

Orange County detectives are searching for suspects in a weekend shooting that left one woman dead and two other victims injured.

Carolina Adriana Romero Arcia was killed by gunfire on Saturday, August 19. Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of 18th Street and Lee Street at around 3:35 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

According to police, three individuals, including Arcia, were in a vehicle when they were struck by gunfire.

The vehicle was driven to the intersection of Orange Avenue and Michigan Street.

The three individuals, including Romero Arcia, were transported to a local hospital. Romero Arcia died at the hospital from the injuries she sustained through gunfire.
