Multiple injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into a building where a Tae Kwon Do class was being held.
On Tuesday, August 29, crews from the Oviedo Fire Department and Oviedo Police Department were called to the scene of a crash at Master Roberts World Class Taekwondo, which is located at the intersection of Oviedo Boulevard and Mitchell Hammock Road (980 Oviedo Blvd Suite 1008).
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found that a sport utility vehicle had gone off the road and crashed through the building.
At the time of the crash, a class was being held inside the “dojang,” which is a Korean term used to describe a Taekwondo training area.
The female driver of the vehicle was transported to the Oviedo Medical CEnter Emergency Room with unspecified injuries.
Four other individuals inside the building, ranging in age from late teen to adult, suffered minor injuries and were not transported away from the scene.
