Pauline McCoy

Pauline McCoy born January 22, 1933. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and caregiver to many, moved into Glory on August 20, 2023. After a lengthy illness, she is at rest, rejoicing with Jesus, her beloved husband of 50 years and many other loved one who preceded her in departing this world.

Polly loved her family, gardening, shopping, reading, baking and ceramics and yarn crafts. She was at her happiest when surrounded by loved ones, which she often was as her home was always open. She loved a drive to the beach, a shrimp dinner with coleslaw and strawberry milkshakes. Anything she touched; she could make it grow. She could identify nearly every plant or bird she came across. Polly was an example of generosity, love, hospitality, sharp wit and strong will.

Pauline and Lee Roy shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2005. They raised 2 sons together in Ohio before moving to Florida to retire and enjoy the warmer climate. Their Son Arthur Roy McCoy has passed on and Polly is survived by her son Richard L. McCoy of Crescent City. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Angela Lopez, her husband Raul and their adult sons, Joshua, and Joel Lopez. Her grandson James Mccoy, his wife Taylor, and their daughter Angelina Schofield.
