UPDATE: Dennis Richard Edwards has been found and is safe.
A Silver Alert has been issued across the state of Florida to help find a disabled man who is missing out of Altamonte Springs.
Altamonte Springs Police Department officers responded to the 7-Eleven, located at 900 Lake Destiny Road, in reference to a missing and disabled adult on Wednesday, September 6, at around 4:02 p.m.
Dennis Richard Edwards, 74, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts, and blue army fatigue slip-on shoes.
Edwards stands 5’6″, weighs 160 pounds, and has gray hair. He was last seen driving a blue 2012 Ford Focus hatchback with New York tag KLW-5205.
Edwards is originally from New York and has a diminished mental capacity, according to police. His family is concerned that he may be driving back to New York.
