The Sanford Police Department will host its annual Hispanic Outreach Festival this weekend at Clifford W. McKibbin Jr. Memorial Park.
The festival will be on Saturday, September 10, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clifford W. McKibbin Jr. Memorial Park (1201 W. 25th St.).
The festival will feature food, music, and activities for families. Live performances include Mariachis Voces de Mexico, Eliel Romero Nio Cantante, Alonso Jr. Magician, Venezolanos En Sanford, and Isla Danza Venezuela Arte y Cultura.
There will be a limited free menu from two Latin food trucks until they run out. The Kids Zone will have inflatables, face painters, craft activities, and art stations, all for free.
The children’s free toy raffle is also returning, and there will be a line-up of local free resources that cover a wide range of topics, including health care, K–12 education, college education, legal services, immigration assistance, food assistance, business consultations, and others.
