In loving memory of our mother, Linda Jean Neumann Petersen, who passed away on August 30, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was the devoted wife of Charlie Petersen and loving mother of Albert, Erich and Karoline. She was a grandmother to Blake, Albert and Eliza She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her twin sister Judith Gilbride, former spouse Dr. Albert C. Neumann parents Bernard and Vera Gilbride, grandparents William and Nelle Marsh.
She is survived by her husband Charlie Petersen, children Albert, Erich and Karoline Neumann, her sister Nancy Killeen, grandchildren Blake, Albert C (Ace), Eliza Neumann, great-uncle William Marsh.
Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Linda was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Growing up, Linda was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. She was a true role model who we will always look up to.
Linda was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs. She was a loving pet mom to Lester, Bessie, Louie, Johnny, and Bradley. She supported Pug Rescue of Orlando and adopted several animals from their organization.
Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
