Willie Stanley Johnson, 59, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, August 28, 2023. Willie, affectionately known as ‘Wine’, was born on August 18, 1964 in Orlando to the late Pauline McCrimon and Ernest Johnson. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and entered the workforce soon after. In his professional career, Willie was a skilled cook. He was employed with Morrison’s Cafeteria for several years. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories: 3 children, Shereka, Reynelda and Maurice; siblings, Patricia, Gretchen, Shirley Ann, Gregory, Thomas, Stewart and Willie; and a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor William Robinson III, officiating. Interment: Taft Memorial Cemetery, Taft.
