No injuries were reported after a cargo van erupted into flames while it was parked at a Walmart parking lot.
Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to the Walmart located at 5511 Deep Lake Road in Oviedo after receiving reports of a vehicle fire on Tuesday, September 12.
Multiple units responded, including firefighter Elizabeth Brennan, who was on her first shift as a Seminole County Fire Department firefighter, according to authorities. Upon arrival, crews encountered a white, GMC cargo van.
Crews were able to take the fire under control immediately.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown.
